What we collect
Subly is a subscription auditor. To work, it stores the following about you:
- Account details — your email address, display name and preferred currency.
- Subscription records — service and plan names, amounts, currency, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories and any notes you add.
- Usage ratings — how often you tell us you use each service.
- Receipt data from scans — when you connect a mailbox, Subly reads receipts and invoices to extract the service name, amount and date. Full email content is not stored; only the extracted charge details, the sender and the subject line are kept.
- Savings advice activity — suggestions shown to you, and whether you acted on or skipped them (including your skip reasons), so advice improves over time.
How we use it
Your data is used only to show you your subscriptions, detect recurring charges, and generate personalised savings suggestions. Analysing receipts and generating advice is done with AI models; your data is not used to train them.
What we never do
- Sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- Let any other user see your data — every row is protected by row-level security tied to your account.
- Store your mailbox password — connections use Google's own sign-in and can be revoked at any time.
Your choices
You can disconnect a mailbox, delete individual subscriptions, or clear your scan history at any time from Settings. If you withdraw consent entirely, sign out and contact us to delete your account and all associated data.
Consent records
When you agree to this notice we store a record of which version you agreed to, when, and from which browser, so we can prove consent was given.
